Hi,

My client has a requirement that the user should not be able to save the pdf file on his hard disk from the website.

Currently I am restricting the user by using password security which dows not allow the user to print, edit or copy text or image.

I need a solution that the user should be able to see the pdf in the web browser but should not be able to save the file on his hard disk.

Can this be done?

Thanks,

Gaurav

Not possible. You have to disable the "cut and paste", "send to", and system backup on a web page you might be able to disable the "save target as" but any reasonably good programmer can work around that. Also Acrobat/Reader downloads a temporary file to the users local system, a type of copy.
