PDF modification

Hi All,

I am new to the whole PDF family and was wondering when i create a PDF in Acrobat 9 standard how do i lock text and drop down modification when emailing to outside customers. Our company has a quote form i created that allows salemen to make changes to the quote form then emails the PDF to customers. The only problem is they can make changes to the PDF.
