Prevent Users from 'Clearing all signature fields'

Is there a definitive answer to this?

In Advanced/Sign & certify, the 'Clear all signature fields' has been brought to my attention by a colleague who used this to clear all signatures in the document?

I don't understand as the signatures are signed, passworded and locked, the document is also passworded to prevent changes other than signing?

Is there a way to prevent this?

Thanks in advance

Yes, you can prevent this by pre-configuring a digital signature field and then locking the field (and other fields if appropriate) after signing. There is more detail in the following post on this at:

In addition, you'll probably want to check out the Digital Signature User Guide at:

Thanks for the input

I did use the option below yet people can still clear the signatures?

-Just these fields: Only the specified signature fields will be read only after signing. Choose Pick and select the field to include.

On my form after performing this task and others that I have already mentioned the signatures can still be cleared through the menu option?

I will check the user guide as you mention but I'm not convinced.

Thanks again for your time.
