Does Acrobat 9 have a security feature that enables a user to only print the file once before it locks the file (or destroys it)?

Thanks for your help.

Adobe LiveCycle Policy Server (?)

(read: not as simple as you wish)

I mean, they didn't call it "SDF" (Secure Document Format) - they designed it mainly to be "portable".

So, if you are thinking that some document can only be printed once, you forget I can do screen Captures, or "print" that one time to a TIFF file....

then, sha-bam - you were outsmarted.

There isn't a specific security feature in A9 to do this but it can be done with LC Policy Server.
Another method (which isn't as foolproof as LC) is to use Javascript. There is an example of this in the September 07 Acumen Journal.
