I have a lot of PDFs that were built from Microsoft Office Word 2003 with embedded graphics using Acrobat 6 Professional
I want to distribute these via CD and email, but I want to ensure that user should be able to view them exactly the way they are, but when they copy/paste or print/print screen the output must be garbage
I have researched a little bit, and found if I could use and embed Custom Encoded Font (which I have to create) that is resident to my system only will do the trick, as the end users will not be able to substitute it
One option is dc.adobe.com, a very invaluable, however it will be a little hassle downloading the plug-ins (end-users), besides I don’t want the tracking either. I do have a trial account but am not sure what will happen to the files, once this trial period is over, I would also like to know after the trial period if I opt for a license, would I be charged on the basis of per user or…
Could you please suggest any good software to create fonts based on the existing fonts that I have (I have Windows XP Professional and Microsoft Office 2003 Professional)
Once these fonts are created I will change the fonts of existing files (Word) and recreate PDFs
If this idea is worth, please respond in detail. I thank you in advance
Kind regards,
Haider
I recommend instead that you consider standard DRM/security options.
