Reader version 9.3.2 Trust Manager Settings Change page greyed out

I use a specialized tool to check the security of our systems. The report that results from these scans comes to me in .pdf format. Included in the report are hotlinks to the website that contains detailed information on the various security issues that were found. For ease of use, I need to be able to click on those hotlinks and go to that detailed info on those websites.

But every time I attempt to do so, I get a message telling me that Reader doesn't allow me to connect to the Internet and go to that site. After some investigation, I determined that to correct this, I need to go to Edit -> Preferences -> Trust Manager -> Change Settings and then either find a way to completely disable the Trust Manager or add that website as an allowed website.

The problem is, the entire Change Settings page is greyed out and I'm not being allowed to change the settings. How do I fix this? There must be a registry entry or something that I can change that will correct this. And no, I only have one copy of Reader installed; version 9.3.2, which I believe is the latest.

My Product Information:
Acrobat Standard 9.3.1, Windows

Are both of you using versions of Reader that have been packaged by your IT department? If so, one possibility might be that this setting was modified during the packaging process prior to install.

I'm actually using Acrobat Pro 9. I was checking that the links in the PDF are valid while I was checking the tag structure to ensure 508 compliancy

On another note, I'm having some problems with expandable text fields and flowing content. I was posted a question on another thread and received some very helpful information but still have not been able to resolve my issue. Would you be able to offer any assistance with flowing content?

Was your version of Acrobat packaged by your IT department? Do you have both Reader and Pro. on the same system?
