REDACTING AN OCR'D OR SEARCHABLE DOCUMENT

I find it hard to control the mouse when marking part of a document for redaction when the file is ocr'd or searchable format. Looking for the right point to start is time consuming. Is there a way we can convert a file from ocr'd or in searchable format to non-ocr'd or non-searchable file?

remove the hidden OCR results by applying 'examine document' (on document menu). on results panel leave selected 'hidden text' and click 'remove' button.

Hold down the Control key to change the Select Tool to the Hand Tool. That will allow you to draw a rectangle over an area regardless of the underlying text.
