I am a graphic designer. I send out pdf's to clients and newspapers. If I set up a password to protect a pdf, allowing a person to only view and print, but not allow changes, do you know if this causes issues with printers (with their rip servers, etc.)? We've had some of docs get changed, and I want to prevent that from happening, but I don't want to cause any issues with the printers either.

Thank you!!

Yes, many printers can't print encrypted PDFs.
