In Acrobat Standard 6.0, I wish to secure my PDF, where the users cannot copy the contents from the pages. But they should be able to print the pages. Can this be acheived without making the document password protected?
My Product Information:
Acrobat Standard 6.0.0, Windows
Short answer- no you can't. But you don't need to use a password for opening the document. Instead, use the second level of password, which is used to set permissions for the file.
In the Password Security - Settings dialog box:
* select Restrict editing and printing of the document.
* type your password
* choose your options to prevent changes.
You'll have to confirm your password and save the file to preserve the security.
