In Adobe Pro 7.09 can you set document permissions to restrict who can print and save when they are accessed via a intranet site? I want to restrict access via PDF market research reports in a intranet site I'm working on.

Acrobat has to ability to set document permissions (i.e., print) on a individual document but to control who has access to that particular document you'll probably want to investigate LiveCycle Policy server. Adobe LiveCycle Policy Server is a server-based security system that provides dynamic control over PDFs. Adobe LiveCycle Policy Server can be configured to run with LDAP, ADS, and other enterprise systems.
Security policies are stored on the Policy Server, the PDFs aren’t. However, users may be required to connect to the Policy Server so that they can open or continue to use PDFs to which a security policy has been applied.
Hope this helps,
