security settings in document properties

Hi All,

We want to test the pdf -

File-Properties-Security-Commenting property is “Not Allowed” or Allowed.

is their any way to get this information through script or other method?

Please advise.

You can get this through a Preflight check (part of Pro or Extended), which can then be called by a batch sequence. If you've never used the Preflight tool, check out the following tutorial:

Create a new preflight check and select the Document Group and "Is encrypted" property.
