Security Warning, URL for Relative Path to Folder - AcroPro 9.2.0

I am working on developing a construction photo documentation manual that is based upon .pdf's of building drawings. I want to distribute the manuals on a DVD or a Flash Drive.

The intent is for the user to open up a pdf file of the building plan in Adobe Reader/Pro, click on a url link in the pdf and be referred to photos documenting the work done in that area.

I want to eliminate the Security Warning when the document is trying to connect to the folder.

I know that I can go into Enhanced Security and set the destination path as a privileged location. However I need the link to work without warnings in the distributed document regardless of the platform the DVD or Flash Drive is installed on.

I am looking for assistance for possible directions or ideas for solutions. Any clues or ideas people have would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Ron

Acrobat is pretty strict about connections to the outside world. Even for harmless stuff like links. Here are a couple of documents on the new security issues in Acrobat 9
