Hi all,

I have been playing with some very large architectural models. When inserted into .pdf (.u3d) the performance is terrible. I have reduced the polygon count as much as possible.

Is it possible to have a 3D panel and a .swf movie panel in the same location?

I would like to be able to export a walkthrough and embed it into the same page as the live 3D model and have different buttons link to the different content.

Is this possible?

Yes it's possible, but not without a plugin (either a commercial product or one you write yourself). See Joel's blog for info

Thanks for the reply. I have however found that movie tends to be much larger than live 3D model.

I am using Deep Exploration and have learnt techniques for keeping file sizes down and performance up...
