Disability accessability

I am handicapped with limited use of hands. After several hours with techs on Acrobat 8 we finally discovered that my limited use of fingers was causing my problem. Tech advised me that my old version (V 5) had more sensitive feature which would allow me to use it. But it was discontinued in Versions 7 and 8. That "solved" problem but when I hung up telephone (and since) I wondered why I was not told this problem would be rectified. I am still wondering and, frankly, I am very disappointed that no one has contacted me to say that problem will be fixed.
