My application uses adlib express server to edit pdf files .And now a bug occurs because of the tags in pdf files .I want to discard all the tags in pdf files automatically using adlib exress server in my application.
In other words ,I want to convert tagged pdfs to untagged pdfs using adlib express server .
I investigate this problem for several days and could not find solutions...

How can I do it ?any suggestion?
Thanks for every reply. :)

Hi,
Looking over the
http://www.adlibsoftware.com/documents/Express/Express_4.7/Express_User_Guide.pdf

it appears that you'll not be able to use it (adlib express server) to strip out the structure tree ("tags").

With that said, perhaps a call to adlib's support team would result in a solution.

Alternatively, with Acrobat 9 Pro / Pro Extended, you could use the Preflight fixup "Discard document structure" in a Batch Sequence to process multiple PDFs in a given directory. The processed PDFs would no longer have document structure ("tags").
