Make accessible tables spanning a spread in width

Hi Community

Here's an interesting one: I have a table that spans a spread in width. How do I tag it so that Acrobat will recognize the table structure? I tried using the inherited tags from Indesign which do fine with the table's structure, but when a user tested it in JAWS, that person said none of the THs were showing up properly. I checked to make sure that the table tag had both a THead and a TBody. In the THead, I have the usual TR children and TH "grandchildren". Similarly, the TBody is made of TRs with TDs within. But it's just not working.

When I decided to start from scratch within Acrobat (deleting all inherited tags, then using 'Add tags to document' in Acrobat), I cannot set up the table structure in a way Acrobat can recognize.

Any ideas?
