Regarding create image as link, i received your example. Example file is very good. but in full check time some errors appears in your example pdf. we want no errors appears in full check time. Also can u explain the procedure (step by step) of tagging. we know the tag structure. can u give some hints?
We have done the below procedure.,
1. we tagged the image as figure tag.
2. we create the link to the image.(at that time link-objr doesn't appears. we know this is not correct).

With Acrobat 8.1.2 in use.
From Full Check - We are told something "may" prevent full accessibility.
The potential issue is that the document contains no fonts and that, if the document appears to contain text, it may be an image-only PDF file.
--| No fonts.
There are, of course, no fonts. The output PDF is an imported *.jpg file (a digital image of a turtle nest hatchling).
Full Check is not identifing an error.
Rather, Full Check is providing information. Let us say the imported image was of a scanned sheet of text.
Then this information facilitates the next step to consider.
Should the output PDF be processed with OCR? (my understanding is that the answer would be "yes")
In part, rendering the PDF accessible would call for OCR of the scanned text.
Clearly, for a digital photo, using OCR is not appicable.
There is no image of text to be processed in order to support accessibility; thus, there is no requirement/need
to "Transform Image-Only PDF"...
The "how" for this example. With Acrobat, File > Create PDF > From file
The *jpg photo image is selected.
(note that a Batch Sequence could be used to process a large inventory of such photos)
With the image imported into PDF, set the language.
(again, for a large inventory of photos, this could be done with a Batch Sequence)
Lay down the link box. Configure link box and set desired link as appropriate.
(perhaps this could be done programmatically - (adobe javascript) - I am a little conversant with
adobe javascript but not competent so I cannot say if this is yes or no)
Make the PDF a tagged PDF.
(Advanced > Accessibility > Add Tags to Document)
Run a Preflight check using the "Error in structured PDF" check.
(This performs 16 discrete checks).
The example PDF passes this check indicating the structure is, basically, ok.
Save As "Text (Accessible) *.txt". the alternate text entry is present as the only item
in the read order.
With the PDF open, open the Tags tool (View > Navigation Panels > Tags)
Under the Order tab, the container for the image is present so it looks like we are ok with
read order.
Under the Tag tab. Viewing the Link (under Annotations) properties we select the Tag tab
We could enter appropriate information in Actual Text or Alternate Text.
Unless there was a specific need to enter a different language than that set above
we would leave Language as is. Also, decide if Title and ID are to have entries.
Being somewhat new to working output PDF files for accessibility I would have to populate the fields
manually. To date I have not read of a way to "automate" this. But, I have much still to learn.
Note that, if the link is given alternate text then the Figure tag alternate text will not be read. Nor
will it appear in the Text (Accessible) text file.
"Nested alternate text will never be seen because alternate text and actual text replace all the contents of the element
and its descendents." The Link is a Tag tree ancestor to the Figure tag.
The Figure alternate text is present but won't be read.
So, for my example, no alternate text for the link.
Perhaps the Link should have the alternate text and not the Figure? (...more to learn ).

I have the same problem. How can I link an image. I have a white font on a red box. so with Strg + 4 you cant read it anymore. I taged it as an image. now i want to link the image. i created a new link-tag and put the figure into it. with the tag option search i want to search for unlinked links. but in arcobat 9 i couldn't find them in this way.
how can i mange this?
