Can't change Fill Color of rectangle box

When using Acrobar 9 Pro for the Mac, I can't change the Color Dropdown so that I can enter RGB values for the fill color of a comment.

I do the following

1) Draw a rectangle
2) Right-click on the rectangle and choose Properties
3) Click on the Fill Color box
4) Choose Other Color
5) When the OS X Color Palette opens, I click on the 2nd from the left item, which are the sliders.
By default, I see the Gray Scale Slider, but I can't click on the drop-down to change it to the RGB slider. If I open the OS X Color Palette in another app, then it works correctly.

Can anyone help me with this?

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 9.0, Macintosh

I am experiencing this problem as well. In fact, NONE of the dropdowns in the Colors panel function at all.

Did you ever figure anything out?

I did all I could, and submitted the bug at http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/mmform/index.cfm?name=wishform

Maybe you would like to as well.

This problem has existed since at least Acrobat 8 Professional. Really lame to be unable to enter custom RGB colors in an "Other Color" panel.
