I've rolled out Shared Review in our company, but new users are not opening other reviews or seeing replies. Which means they're not benefitting from the interactivity that's possible.
Is there a way, such as a script, that would automatically turn the Comment List on and expand all comments? I'd rather have it on and visible and have them turn it off than never see it...
Thanks,
Art
There are three different ways to set Commenting preferences for new users so that the Online Commenting experience is similar.
1) Installshield Tuner - This tool allows a system administrator to define what the preferences are before Acrobat is installed on each client.
2) FDF files - For browser-based reviews, FDF files are used to specify the PDF document to which the comment applies, and which type of repository is used and the location of the comments.
3)Javascript in document - You can insert a document-level Javascript into a PDF that sets the server and comment location each time the PDF is opened.
For more detailed information on these options check out the Setup and Administration guide for Online Comments at:

Hope this helps,
