Hi,

I am trying to find a way to measure diagonally with Acrobat 8 professional and all I can find is measuring horizontal and vertical.

Is there a way to do this? :D

This may help:
Open a PDF. Show the grid lines (Ctrl+U in Windows).
Access the Distance Tool.
Line up the tool's cross with an intersection of one of the grid's horizontal/vertical sets of lines.
Now, left click the mouse & hold it.
Push your mouse a wee bit then make a circular motion.
You'll observe the line describing a 360 degree circle having a radius having a value of the Distance Tool's length.
Start at the bottom left of a square in the grid and end at the upper right.
Release the mouse. You've a diagonal.
Refine the the grid's subdivisions in "Units & Guides" category of the Preferences to provide greater granularity.Be well...
