Ending shared reviews

I have a question about what to do when my shared reviews end. Basically, my documents are available for comment for a week then are pulled down, the author reviews the comments and creates the final version.

So far the only way I've found to end a review is to delete the file and comments folder from the review server (in SharePoint). The trouble is, this doesn't seem to remove the review from the Review Tracker. It's a hassle, but not insurmountable to remove each review from the Tracker on my own, but it's a step I don't want my other reviewers to have to do. The links are broken so they can't do any more commenting, but the bad links don't seem to get removed.

Is there any way to 'push' a removal of the revies to other users?

In Acrobat 8 you should end the review from the Review Tracker before deleting any remaining files on the server: right-click the entry and select "Remove From Review Tracker" or click on "Reviews I've Sent" from the list on the left and click the Trash can icon next to the relevant entry.

However, Acrobat 9 addresses what you really need. Deadlines you set for a Shared Review are actually enforced. Once the time and date has locally passed, reviewers will no longer be able to submit their comments online. You can end the review or change the deadline from the Tracker for any Shared Reviews you initiated. And deleting the review from the Tracker really does remove the files from the server! :)
