Locking down marked up documents so others can't see the hidden text

Hello All: Can you hide text and graphics with rectangles, or filled text boxes, and lock it down so when others print they don't have the option to see your hidden items? I have password protected the document and it is locked down for online viewing but when they print, if they don't have "Document and Markups" selected in the print function box, they can see all the stuff I hid. Even though it is password protected.

Desperate for help! Any ideas?

The best method to hide sensitive content is to use the Redaction capabilty in Acrobat 8 Pro. Otherwise, content can easily be revealed in a document (i.e., Content pane, etc.). For more information on Redaction check out the following article by Ted Padova:

How can I hide a markup or comments on a pdf to send to someone else? I want to keep the comments but hide them so this person doesn't see them, but I have to use them later on. I am just trying to hide the messiness also it is not quite necessary for the person to view them.

Thanks!
