I have a lot of stamps all over a 40 page pdf document. There is a huge lag when i scroll up and down and the stamps will dissappear and reappear. Is there any way to improve this lag? Would installing more ram fix this issue? Thanks for your help everyone.

Hi --

You can't hide stamps, unlike other sorts of comments. As you scroll, Acrobat has to constantly redraw the screen. Try jumping from page to page instead. It won't solve the problem completely, but it will draw far faster. Also, you could try decreasing the size of the stamps. Smaller stamps = less to redraw.

Is there any way to speed up scrolling faster than one line at a time? Presently, this the only speed that my computer can use in Adobe. I have tried to change the speed in the software for my mouse, and it has no effect on Adobe Reader. Mine is version 9. Thanks.

I found a service running that seemed to be causing the problem. That service is Trusted Drive Manager by Wave Systems Corp. and the filename is tdmservice.exe. After disabling that service, and then uninstalling the software (it came preinstalled from Dell), the problem was resolved.
