Lotus Notes on a Mac

I am using a Mac with Lotus Notes 7 as the default email server. I cannot get the "attach for email review" or "send for Shared Review" to work in Acrobat Pro 8.

Right before sending the review announcement, I receive an error stating that "the SendMail doesn't know how to talk to your default mail client."

Any workaround? Does the shared review process not work with Lotus Notes on a Mac?

Thanks!

Hi CDAWN,

Acrobat only supports Apple Mail and Entourage for the Mac. If you still want to use Lotus Notes, here is a potential workaround:

1. Set "Mail" (Apple's e-mail client) as the default e-mail client.

2. Open the PDF you want to review and click File > Send by Email for Review. You get a Mail compose screen with the file attached.3. Launch Lotus notes and compose a new memo.

4. Bring the Mail window forward by clicking the Mail icon in the Dock. Reposition the Mail compose window so you can see the Notes memo compose screen too.

5. Drag & drop the FDF attachment from the Mail compose window into the Notes compose window.6. If desired, copy/paste the rest of the message text into Notes (or compose your own, it doesn't really matter)

7. Send the memo using Lotus Notes.

Hope this helps,
Lori
