Typing on a pdf document

I asked earlier about typing text on a pdf document. Unfortunately, I don't understand the answer given...what is the typewriter tool? I don't see anything like that on my screen in READER. And what is CTRL/OPTION- I don't think this works with reader anyway, but I don't know what OPTION is. I tried every way I can to click on the cells but I can't type in them.

My Product Information:
Reader 7.0.0, Windows

Hi clieseke,

The Typewriter tool is only available for use in Adobe Reader if the author of the PDF enabled it, and the only way to enable it is with the full Acrobat Professional product. So, if the creator of the PDF did not enable the Typewriter function you will not see the Typewriter tools in Adobe Reader.

I'm not clear about the Ctrl/Option part of your question, but it may be that Ctrl is a Windows command and Option is the equivalent for a Mac??

Hope that Helps,

Dimitri
