corrupt file can't install

How can I replace a file that is corrupt in the Data1.cab. I would like to be able to reinstall Acrobat.

My Product Information:
Acrobat Standard 7.0.0, Windows

Clean up the system registry and remove all references of the previous installation of Acrobat.

Or, run a disk clean-up, download and install a good Uninstall program as Windows sometimes does not completely uninstall an application when requested..

I have done what you asked. I still can't get pass the corrupt file on the CD in the data1.cab.The file that corrupt is ctl27.lex. I myself can not open the Data1.cab and replace that file and be able to close it back up the way I found it. So that it works.

This has happened to me with Windowa XP so I contacted Microsoft and they express mailed me a new copy that worked.

I suggest contacting Adobe for the same purpose.

Make sure you have a date of purchase and registration key available.

Well I have tried everything and still get the same. From everything I have none it leaves me to beleive that the Quick time plug-in 7.2 is bad. Would you happen to know where I could download a older plug-in for FireFox.
