Does anybody know what is the library path to make Acrobat recognize the bit4id Minilector smart card reader, under Mac OS?
We are trying to follow the instructions set out in [link=http://www.adobe.com/devnet/acrobat/pdfs/doc_security_user_guide.pdf]http://www.adobe.com/devnet/acrobat/pdfs/doc_security_user_guide.pdf[/link] page 28-29 but we cannot figure out where the required library is, in the file system of our Macintosh.

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 7.0.5, Macintosh

I would think the required file would be supplied by the manufacturer of the hardware.

From scanning the bit4id site, the USB version doesn't seem to be supported for Os X. Though I would double check with the bit4id company.

The drivers for the Minilector are provided by the CA (Infocamere) that sold us the entire bundle (smartcard, Minilector and their sw for digital signature). As soon as I insert the card, it appears as a new keychain in the Keychain Access application. Everything works fine with the Infocamere sw, but we would like to sign PDFs by Acrobat, which is far easier and clear for end users than enclosing a file in a p7m "envelope".

FInally, I found that after installation, the drivers of the minilector are placed in /usr/libexec/SmartCardServices/drivers/ACR38Driver.bundle, but thi path it is not accepted by Acrobat.

Acrobat accepts the following path: /usr/libexec/SmartCardServices/pkcs11/pkcs11.bundle. A new PKCS#11 module now appears but the ID contained in it is not shown in the "Security settings/PKCS#11 modules and tokens" Window.

Is it possible to make Acrobat access the ID via Keychain instead of this way?
