Do the Adobe X SCUP catalogs update Adobe 9 products?
I am fairly sure the Adobe X SCUP Catalogs do not update previous versions but I am not 100% sure and my testing has not fully answered the question. We still have several hundred Adobe 9.x Reader boxes out there and it would be easier to just keep them that way.

"Note: For users who participated in the Acrobat X prerelease program and were able to access the beta SCUP catalog for Acrobat 9, we will no longer be supplying SCUP catalogs for version 9 products. The version 9 SCUP catalog was a proof-of-concept exercise that allowed us to develop the SCUP catalog for Acrobat X."
