When attempting to install Acrobat 8.0 Pro - Trial version for testing the installation window disappears. I am installing on WIn XP machine that far exceeds all specifications. I click on the exe file and it asks me to "run", I click okay. I see a box for 1/2 sec then it goes away and nothing happens. I have tried installing in my account, admin account, and a new account. I removed all versions of reader from the machine, no luck. I booted to safe mode and attempted to install and nothing happened. I am at a loss here, can you help?
