Install Acrobat 4.0 - Windows XP Professional

I have a new computer and an old version of Acrobat [4.0] which I bought an upgrade for several years ago. The upgrade is to 5.0. This is not Acrobat Reader - it's the suite so I can fill in forms.

However, I cannot install the 4.0 on this computer.

There is no error message; it just doesn't do anything.

I get the autorun window with buttons 'before you install", install, play movie, and browse all of which I can do except actually install it.

I found the executable which also did nothing.

Somehow 3D got checked. I did not intend to.

That doesn't surprise me. Have you tried installing 5?

No because 5.0 is the upgrade so I didn't even attempt it. When I installed on the old computer, I had to have 4.0 installed. I had tried to install 5.0 and then insert the 4.0 CD to verify a valid installation. No go.

Any other suggestions?
