How do I take Adobe 8.0 off my old computer and put it on my new computer and get it to work - do I have to reactivate the program or is there a special way to do this?

Thank you

If you want to install the software on a different computer, you must first deactivate the software on your computer: Choose Help > Activation > Deactivate.Once you have installed the program on a new computer choose Help > Activation > Activate and follow the on-screen instructions to Activate the software again. If you experience any problems you can visit the Activation support site at:

I need to install Acrobat Pro 8 on a new computer. My old computer was stolen, so I can't deactivate Acrobat on it. What can I do?

There shouldn't be a problem, but if you've used up your activations then you'll need to call Adobe's activation line for your country and explain the situation to them. They'll grant you an additional activation.
