New Laptop

I got a new laptop and shifted all Program Files from the original machine to the new. However, when I try to open the Acrobat.exe (C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 7.0\Acrobat\Acrobat.exe), I get a 'No valid Acrobat serial number found. Acrobat will now quit' message.

In reading other posts, it appeared that there may be conflicts when a serial number is installed on multiple machines. So, I retrieved the serial number from my original installation and uninstalled the application from that machine.

Unfortunately, I'm not sure where/how to provide that serial number to the files on my new machine. Help! Now I don't have Adobe Standard on either machine!!

My Product Information:
Acrobat Standard 7.0, Windows

do you mean that you copied the Program Files folder from on pc to another? If so, of course it's not going to work. You must "install" the AA7 on the new machine using the install CD. The CD comes with a serial number. you may need assistance from a tech competent and friendly person.
