Hi

I use (or try to) adobe acrobat 8.1 on Vista. But the printer just will not install. I tried the repair option, but still no pdf printer. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

Before you run Detect and Repair check that the Print Spooler process is running and set to Automatic, and then repair Acrobat.

Select Start > Settings > Control Panel.
Double-click Administrative Tools and then double-click Services.
Locate the service Print Spooler.
If the Startup Type is not Automatic, then set it to Automatic:
Right-click the Print Spooler.
Choose Properties.
Choose the General tab.
Choose Automatic in the Startup Type menu.
Click OK.
If the Print Spooler service is not running, then start it.
Right-click the Print Spooler line.
Select Start from the menu.
Start Acrobat, and choose Help > Detect And Repair.
