Reader 8 on Intel Mac

I cannot get Adobe Reader 8 to open in a Managed account in Mac OS X (version 10.4.8 for Intel). It will open in an admin account, but when opened in a managed account it says "Adobe Reader was unable to install a necessary component and must quit."

Did you install Adobe Reader on the same login account as you're trying to use the program? Certain Library files are installed in different Library folders on Mac OSX. You might try logging into the account you want to use the application and try to install Reader.
