The update to Acrobat 8.1.2 fails.

I am trying to fill out a form and when I do it says something about needing the Chinese language tool or something. When I tried to update my adobe professional 8 I get the error message "Installation Source is not available. Verify that the source exists and you can access it."

I have tried the automatic update and the manual; neither method works.Tried going into add/remove programs and repairing. I now get that same message there, so I cannot even remove the program and try to reinstall. I put the CD in my drive but it does not seem to pull the needed info from there. Where do I go from here?
