Upgrade to v9 from v5

Hello.

I've just discovered the advantages of creating pdfs and wanted to purchase the upgrade from v5 to v9 (v5 doesn't work with Vista). But I see there is no upgrade price, and given that there are so many versions in between, I'm not surprised. Having lost my job a few months ago, there is no way I could afford the full price. I'm assuming that's what it would cost--the full price? Or perhaps I can upgrade to a previous version that might cost less? Or perhaps there is some sort of pay-monthly until it's paid off type of scheme? I really only need 3 features: create pdf, create single pdf from various sources, and delete pages within a pdf. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

My Product Information:
Acrobat Standard 5.x or older, Windows

1. There's no direct upgrade from 5 to 9. You need the full version.
2. Adobe does not sell any version prior to 9.
3. If you can find a legitimate version in between, you would be able to upgrade from that one to version 9. HOWEVER, I would strongly recommend against that since the chances of getting a legitimate version are very low and the internet is full of fakes.
4. Don't know about a monthly payment scheme, but I doubt it. You should call Adobe and ask them directly if you want a definite answer.
5. For your purposes, Acrobat Standard is enough. You don't need Pro.

Good luck...
