Acrobat 8.0 professional question. I have a 14 page FORM with 265 data fields. I only want to export 61 of them to a text file. Is it possible to select which fields get exported?

Yes. Do this. Right click the Submit button, click Properties, click the Action tab. Set the "Select Trigger" option to Mouse Up, set the Select Action to Submit a form, click Add and in the Field Selection list, click the radio button for "Only these ..

Click the check boxes for the 61 fields you want to export.

Eugene Williams. Great information and I thank you. It did take me until today to figure out where everything was that you mentioned. I still have an obsticle. I need the data exported into a tab-separated text (TXT) file and I don't have that choice available when it asks for export format. The help topic "Exporting and emailing forms" says that "Depending on how the form was created, you can save the form data as a tab-separated text (TXT)..." Do you have an idea on how I can get my selected data fields exported in (TXT) format. Everything else works except this .txt thing.
