Add form field to already existing PDF

I have numerous PDFs created from xml documents. I need to find a way to automatically incorporate a form field (at the bottom of the final page) of each separate pdf. The form field is a simple "comments" text field.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I should go about this? I'm unfamilair with batch processing....any info would be greatly appreciated.

If you are going to do this in Acrobat, you can use an automation script. See this artical:

The artical is about automatically adding form field buttons to a PDF, but it could easily be about adding any kind of form field to a PDF, they are all the same in this way.

I have the same question:

I will always print out a standard PDF format by a template. and I wish I can automatically add several text field into the fix location of that PDF. what can I do for it? by action or script. do you have some related website for looking for the link? I am using the adobe acrobat X pro. thanks.

You can either create a script to do it on a single file, or an action to do it on multiple files.
