Adding fillable fields to an existing PDF

I have an existing form that is not fillable. Is there an easy way to make certain fields fillable?

I have Adobe Designer 7.0 and have tried to add text fields to the document but it is very cumbersome. Is there and easier way?

Thank You,

Robert

Have you tried the "Form" tool in Acrobat?

Is this tool in Adobe Designer? I cannot find a "Forms Tool" there. I have been trying to use the "Forms Wizard" to no avail.

Thank You,

No, it is not a part of LiveCycle Desinger!

It is a part of Acrobat Professional.

On Acrobat's menu bar go to "Tools => Advance Editing => Show Forms Toolbar".
