Alignment of form tools

I seem to have either a glitch or changed a setting where I can no longer align the form tools where I need to. I was previously able to size a text box field exactly how I wanted, and place it where i needed. Now there are problems with alignment.

Acrobat Pro 8, Windows

Under [b]View[/b], in the top menu bar make sure "snap to grid" is not checked. If "snap to grid" is checked, Acrobat will move the fields in relationship to whatever grid it's got going.

Acrobat is probably the program I use most often and I'm learning more every day.
