Hi everybody,

I just created my first form with 9 different fields. The size of the form is already 512 KB. Is that normal? When I add received forms to the answer file it grows everytime some 500 Kb, so in the end when I add 500 answers I would have 250 MB. Is there a way to import data without such a growth of the answer file?

Thanks for answers

The size of the PDF file has nothing to do with it being a form. It has to do with the content of the PDF. How was it created? from a scanned document? from a word file? Does it contain images? Have you opened and saved this file many times? What features have you added to the file; headers/footers, page numbers, etc.?

Unfortunately you have Standard, which does not include any of the file optimization tools. But one thing you can do is SaveAs. When a PDF file is saved, Acrobat does not write over existing file, it appends the changes to the end. So Saved files always get bigger. When you do a SaveAs, Acrobat creates a new file without all the old data.
