basic forms questions

greetings

hope you don't mind these beginner questions...
i am trying to enter data in the the text fields i created and having trouble.

why is the font size changing when i enter more than one line?
i checked multi line in options but when i print more than one line, the font size shrinks.

is there any one who can suggest how to fix this?

It sounds like you have the font size set to "Auto" on the "Apperance" tab. Acrobat/Reader is adjusting the size so all the text is viewable and not scrolling out of sight.
