Bug? Auto text size in rich text boxes

Has anyone ever tried setting the text size of the span elements in a rich text box to Auto (textSize=0)? Has it worked?
My tests so far on Reader 9 have not shown this to work (the font size seems to default to the standard size), and I've also found a post in the archives of someone who seems to have the same problem: here

Can anyone confirm/refute this on a different platform?

I can confirm this behavior on the Mac, and I can imagine a reasonable argument that this behavior should not be considered a bug. How do you think it should work, considering that a rich text field can have text of different sizes?

Thanks for confirming my findings, George.
I think that it should work as advertised, i.e. that when the textSize property of all the items in the spans array is set to 0, it should fit the size of the text to the size of the box, just like with non-rich boxes.

NB - maybe I should have posted this in the JavaScript forum. If an admin wishes to move it there, that should be fine.

Update: I've just tested it in Acrobat Pro 8 on Windows. When setting the text size manually to "0", nothing changes. When doing so with a script, it defaults to "12".
Another bug I noticed is when setting the font size manually to "2", the size changes accordingly, but the properties bar shows "48" when re-selecting the text.
