I am not sure this is the most relevant place to post my question.

I have an image pdf file and had it OCRed to produce a searchable pdf file. I know the x, y coordinates of the text and want to build a template for it. Is there any way to do it?

Thank you for your time,

What do you mean by template, exactly? You might want to include more details about what you're trying to accomplish. The more information, the better.

I have 2 pdf files: one image file, and one searchable pdf file.

I have an original image of a form of billing information, say account number, user name, address and so on. Then I had the pdf file OCRed and the result was a searchable pdf. With that searchable pdf file, I can find the x, y coordinates of each text appears in the pdf file. For example, the x, y coordinates of "John Doe" is (300, 100). I want to extract "John Doe" by its location, i.e. x, y coordinates and represent it, say in xml "user name: John Doe".

Any way to do it?

Thanks,
