Button Submit mailto wierdness

I've built a form and added a button, changed it to submit and added mailto:jwheat [at] messiah [dot] edu (my email address)

I open the form in reader (after changing the rights) and click the button...

It opens a new email message, with the PDF attached as expected (YEA!), however the to: email address becomes

jwheat [at] messiah [dot] edu [dot] 1 [dot] MAPI

!!!

Which obviously bounces

Is that a local system problem, or am I missing something in my form?

Ok, on a whim - I changed the email address to my gmail account, and it works fine. So I'm chalking this up to an internal computer configuration problem.
