Hi, I have several forms that I send out to be completed by people. Once I get them back, can the form be converted to non-writable once I get it back?
I know how to remove the blue highlight from the fields, I just would like the information to stay as is.
I am using Acrobat pro 9

Thanks.

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 9.0, Windows

Hi theseoguys,

You can flatten the file with a simple script. Flattening will push the appearance of the fields into the content and they will no longer be fillable. Here is a blog post about how to do this-

http://blogs.adobe.com/buildwithacrobat/2007/09/flatten_comments_in_a_pdf.php

And if you do this frequently you can get a free tool that will place a custom toolbar in Acrobat for flattening here-
http://www.pdfscripting.com/public/65.cfm
(scroll down to the "Flatten Page Content Tool" item for the download)

Hope this helps,

Dimitri
