Hi

I was wondering if you can mail merge data from excel into form fields created in acrobat pdf files.

I have been able to do it with one pdf - how do you do multiples at one time?

You would have to add pages through the use of the "template" object and write a script to move the data to each new page with that page's renamed fields.

Thank you for responding - although I'm not quite sure where to start : )

Is the template object you spoke of in Acrobat? and what sort of script do you write?

Is this a really tricky thing to do?

This is part of Acrobat Forms and only available to Acrobat Forms, not LiveCycle Designer. You will have to write custom JavaScript functions and field actions to perform these tasks.

Try using PDF/Mergician it is suited just for these needs.
You can take any number of PDF forms, fill them with data and send the out via email, web etc.
