I know that I can create a list box and have it multi-select but I don't have that much space and I like the drop down/pop up look of the combo box. I thought I have read that I can have it so that the reader can multi-select choices. Does anyone know if this is possible?

Thanks
Bob

On the 'Options' tab for the list box have you checked the 'Allow multiple selections'. To access the values in JavaScript, you will need to use custom calculations and test the 'typeof' for the value of the field to determine if the value consist of a single selection (typeof will be text or number) or an array (typeof will be object) and deal with the result accordingly.

Thanks for your reply. I have no trouble with "multiple selections" for the "list box", my question is about having the same functionality with a "combo box". The list box takes up more space inherently, and the combo box fits much better into my layout.

I don't need real access to the values. They are just text choices basically...

Thanks...
