CAN'T COMBINE FORMS

When I try to combine a form with another form, I get this message:

"Any form fields that have the same name in the merged documents are now merged into one field. If you want the values in these fields to be unique, then you need to create a PDF Portfolio instead of merging the files. To create a PDF Portfolio, choose File > Create PDF Portfolio."

I then have two forms which are exactly the same. This seems to be forcing me to use the portfolio to combine forms. I would rather be able to just combine the forms as I did before ( w/Acrobat 8).

I also get this same result when I try to Combine Files from within the portfolio. I don't have a problem inserting a form into a regular PDF document, only when I try to add a second form.

How can I compile form results by simply inserting a new form into an existing PDF from?

It is a warning not a prohibition.

If you are going to combine forms and 2 or more forms have fields with the same name, Acrobat will treat them as one field and they need to have the same field properties as they will act as one field for many properties and operations. You will have to look at each form and decide if the like named fields are compatible. If the are not you will need to rename one of the form fields. If you do not, you will have unexpected results.
