Can't edit fields in Designer

Suddenly, when I open my form in Designer (not reader enabled), I click on a field and nothing happens(!) Can't edit, no right-click stuff available, etc.!!

Please enlighten the "about every 4 months" visitor to the Designer environment on his operational error.

Do you mean LiveCycle Designer? This is the tool for creating and editing LiveCycle PDF Forms. You can't use the form in this tool. To use the form you have to use Acrobat or Adobe Reader.
